No need to agonize over giving a toast, it can actually be an enjoyable process that involves thinking about good times from the past and looking at the happiness that lies ahead for the couple you're toasting. Wedding Words - Toasts walks the reader through every aspect of giving a toast - the elements of a toast, the amount of time you'll need to prepare, the importance of rehearsing the speech, appropriate tone/volume, how to calm your nerves, where you stand. The book is for everyone who might possibly give a toast at a wedding reception, but sidebars throughout the book contain specific information pertinent to the best man, father/parents, maid of honor, or bride and groom. It also includes a selection of questions for the toast maker to help get the ball rolling. A couple sample toasts are included, but the focus of the book is really to create something from the speaker's heart.
