Thirty-two-year-old Danielle Proud grew up in the 1970s with a mum who was obsessed with craft. She passed on her passion to her daughter, who now regularly writes craft columns for the Guardian and Observer. Danielle has supplied Topshop with thousands of craft packs, as well as carrying out demonstrations in-store. She is currently in negotiations for a major primetime TV series. "House Proud" shows you how to get designer style for your home on a shoestring budget, whilst doing your bit for the environment along the way.
